DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Social Media Management:

  • Develop and implement effective social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Create compelling and shareable content across multiple platforms, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and goals.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging platforms to recommend innovative approaches.

Website management

  • Develop and implement effective communication protocols via the organization’s website.
  • Collaborate with school leadership to provide updates to the school’s webpage.
  • Maintain the school’s online calendar.

Content Creation:

  • Generate visually appealing and engaging content, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and create content that resonates with our target audience.

Community Engagement:

  • Foster a sense of community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify opportunities for collaboration with influencers, partners, and industry leaders.

Data Analysis:

  • Compile and analyze data related to business performance, social media metrics, and market trends.
  • Generate reports to provide insights into areas of improvement and growth opportunities.

Technology Support

  • Create and update online support tips, directions, tutorials, and documentation.
  • Diagnose and repair hardware and software problems.
  • Facilitate repairs with third-party vendors and monitor warranty work.
  • Support users with Google Apps for Education and other academic online systems.
  • Troubleshoot classroom AV technology issues.
  • Provide multimedia set-up for special events.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the leadership team, including managing schedules, travel arrangements, and correspondence.
  • Assist with basic financial tasks, such as expense tracking and invoicing.
  • Handle general office management duties, including excellent customer service, to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must meet background clearance requirements as specified by Alabama Statutes and State Board of Education regulations
  • Proven experience in social media management with a track record of successful campaigns.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in using social media analytics tools and platforms.
  • Familiarity with basic administrative tasks and office management.
  • Tech-savvy with a creative mindset.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in social media management and business administration.
