School Uniform Expectations for the 2026-2027 School Year

Posted Date: 06/04/26 (07:23 AM)

Dear Empower Families,

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we want to remind families that all students are required to wear the approved Empower school uniform each day. Our uniform policy helps promote a positive school culture, student pride, and a focus on learning.

We are excited to share an important update regarding school uniform purchases through French Toast Uniforms. Beginning later this month, French Toast will offer pre-embroidered Empower uniform items, allowing families to enjoy faster shipping and easier returns, even on embroidered apparel. We encourage families to visit French Toast today to explore approved uniform options and begin planning their student's school wardrobe for the 2026–2027 school year. Additional information will be shared as these items become available.

Please note the following uniform expectations:

  • Students must wear clean, neat, and properly fitting uniforms each day.
  • Uniforms should reflect both student pride and pride in our school community.
  • Torn, ripped, stained, excessively worn, or faded uniform shirts and pants will not be permitted.
  • Belts are required for all students when wearing pants or shorts with belt loops.
  • Closed-toe shoes are required at all times.
  • Students may wear solid black sweaters with their uniforms in classrooms and throughout the building.
  • Hoodies, sweatshirts, sweatpants, and other non-uniform outerwear are not permitted during the school day.
  • All students are expected to be in full uniform each day unless otherwise communicated by the school.
  • CLEAR Backpacks ONLY

We appreciate your partnership in helping us maintain high expectations and a professional learning environment for all students. Thank you for ensuring your child arrives at school dressed for success and ready to learn each day.

Together, we can ensure that our students represent themselves, their families, and Empower Schools of Alabama with pride.
